‘The Meeting’ is a linocut print showing an imagined séance. Hands meet around the table to make a connection to each other and perhaps another realm. In recent times, touching hands has become scrutinised as a source of potential contagion or misconstrued consent. ‘The Meeting’ frames a moment of potential non-corporeal communication through touch.

Recently featured in The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023 selected by Eileen Cooper RA, curated by David Remfry RA.
